Welcome to Interpack 2011!

Interpack 2011, the world’s leading fair in the packaging industry, will be held at Düsseldorf Trade Fair Center from 12 to 18 May 2011.

Interpack 2011 will occupy 19 halls showing processes and packaging solutions for a wide range of industries: food and beverages, confectionary and bakes products, pharmaceuticals and cosmetics, non-food consumer goods and industrial goods and services.

About 2,700 exhibitors from roughly 60 countries are expected. The Italian companies at Interpack 2011 are totally 430 covering about 37.000 sqm. Italy is the second country for exhibitors’ number after Germany. At Interpack 2011 will be organized thematic areas: Innovationparc Packaging, with the focus on Quality of life and to two special shows, “Metal Packaging Plaza” and “Save Food”.

At the “Metal Packaging Plaza” there will be a meeting point for the international metal packaging industry and its suppliers. The area will be surrounded by companies with innovative metal packaging solutions. “Save Food” is about the way in which each stage in the packaging value chain and also in food transport and logistics can make a contribution to the combat against the global issue of waste.
